CONTRACT TO DIRECT hiring is a risk-free way to put someone to work, performing the same function as a full-time individual, without the bookkeeping, payroll, reporting, or benefits costs. “Contract to Direct” hiring provides a cost-effective manner whereby you can fully assess skills and make accurate work performance predictions prior to the actual hire making your current selection process more accurate and efficient. After a specified period of time they may be brought on as your regular employee. ECI remains the employer of record during the pre-hire period. The employee is kept on our payroll for a pre-determined number of working days and there is never a firm obligation to hire. Should you decide to place the employee on your payroll prior to the “Contract to Direct” hire end date you may do so by paying a service fee based on annual salary.
