ECI utilizes numerous recruitment strategies and sources to find the best candidates in the market and to find the best candidates to fit a particular job order. All candidates that are recruited and sourced by ECI are put through a five-step process to ensure the best possible candidate prior to client submittal.
Initial Pre-Screen
All candidates are pre-screened prior to an in-person interview. A viable candidate is one that has a solid and verifiable work history and applicable and/or relevant work skills related to a particular job order.
Interview
All candidates are required to complete an employment application. Candidates are not interviewed from a resume. Our application highlights the candidates’ scholastic achievements and traces the candidates work history back a minimum of four previous jobs. The interview consists of reviewing and verifying the applicant’s work history through the means of behavioral and traditional interview techniques.
Testing
ECI utilizes the QWIZ testing system and a custom manufacturing testing packaging to test and verify the skills of the candidates. Testing packages include the following modules:

References and Background Checks
Prior to client submittal, minimums of two professional references are completed. The references are used to verify applicant statements made during the interview process, as well as, the references are used to verify the applicants overall performance, image, communication skills, attitude, and management ability. Criminal and/or credit checks are completed per client request. Finally, all applicant social security numbers are verified with an outside agency to guarantee that candidates are legal to work in the United States.
Drug Testing
ECI maintains a drug free work environment. Drug testing is available per client request and company policy. Clients can either request a 5 or 10 panel drug test
